The Makita DUC254RT 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Top Handle Chainsaw kit includes 1 x 5Ah 18v LXT battery and DC18RC fast charger. The DUC254RT is ideal for professional tree surgeons and other professional trades thanks to the sheer power and durability this chainsaw provides. It is designed with a variable speed control trigger and soft start providing the user with full control and clean cutting. To ensure the user’s safety and to prevent unexpected accidents this has an electric chain brake and kickback brake. The captive nuts ensure you do not lose the nuts when changing the chain and therefore increasing productivity in your working day. It has been designed with lightweight construction for minimal fatigue and maximum ease when in use.

Hand filing system that reduces the depth gauge while sharpening the chain. Another one of Stihl’s great innovations the system works pretty well. Some love it and use nothing else – others have tried and returned to other standard techniques. There may be some minor modifications needed to other manufacturers files to fit into EZ File ie. you may have to shorten the file.
